For further information please refer to report documentation. The report can identify whether an employee needs to be given a P45 (3) or P46 form and generates xml file accordingly. Please note that P45 (3) can be issued even after issuing a P46 upon update of Infotype 0065 with P45 details.
- A New Report RPUEFO_PENNOT has been created to support e-filing functionality of PENNOT notification.
- Prerequisite: Employee Pension data needs to be entered in Infotype 0065 (Leaver Details tab: Pension Amount and New widow Indicator) before running the report for the employee. For further information please refer to report documentation.
Note: The e-filing in -year movement functionality is built on the same architecture as e-filing outgoing functionality, hence e-filing outgoing functionality is prerequisite for In-year movement functionality. Also the Usability for in-year movement functionality is nearly similar to e-filing outgoing functionality.
To complete Implementation of the e-Filing in-year movement solution, Customers with E-filing outgoing Functionality must maintain the constants used by the e-Filing functionality in view V_T50BK for document subtypes IYMV and P46.
For customers not currently utilizing outgoing functionality, various steps must be followed. For a comprehensive overview of the implementation process for e-Filing Outgoing, customers should refer to the document 'e-Filing Outgoing Implementation and User Guide' which is located on the PY-GB customer page in the SAP Service Marketplace. You can download a copy of this user guide from the GB payroll customer page, under: Media Center > e-Filing. The user guide contains a detailed description of the configuration process for the e-Filing outgoing solution. After e-filing outgoing functionality has been setup maintain the constants used by the e-Filing functionality in view V_T50BK for document sub-types: IYMV and P46.
N.B. Infotype 0065 (Tax Data GB) has been changed extensively which includes New Fields, Layout, Checks and Updates from reports.
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is a way of transferring large amounts of information between two organizations using a dedicated connection or a secure network. EDI is used by the Inland Revenue for filing PAYE forms. Any employer with the necessary communication links installed can use EDI to send and receive their PAYE forms. In practice, however, EDI is most suitable for the largest of employers - those with staff numbers running into the thousands and/or with high levels of staff turnover. For smaller employers, filing over the Internet is likely to be a more cost-effective option.
A list of technical requirements, along with a registration guide for EDI can be found at the link below:
