What is it?

The SDS Test Tool allows users to quickly and quite easily do a quick comparison of payroll results before and after any system change. The tool highlights any discrepancies in the “before” and “after” payroll results for any number of wagetypes set up for the test cases.

The tool allows a user to create a number of test scenarios and cases. Test cases can be set up for testing of HRSP updates to the system, for a system upgrade or for just the application of a new PCR.

Once the test cases have been set up, they can then be copied into a new project to create a new set of tests which can then be run.

SDS test tool summary output A test summary screen shows the required test cases, tests and results including the number of differences. The user will have the flexibility to allow for tolerances and acceptable differences in the results and these variances are included in the test results. Customers will be able to set the tolerances and acceptable differences themselves for each project and test case if required. This makes the tool incredibly flexible and in addition very powerful and efficient.
